What is Breathwork?

Breathwork is the practice of intentionally altering your breath in an active, rhythmic pattern in order to quiet your thinking mind and drop into the body. The type of breathing pattern we use the most at Connected and Well is called conscious connected breathing. You will breath in a circular connected breathing pattern for about 45 minutes while you are guided with words and evocative music.

We can’t quite explain all the things that will happen during a session. Everyone’s practice is different. Here are some things that can happen: you may feel hot / cold, you may cry (or not), lift your heaviness, connect with your intuition, gain clarity, explore altered states of consciousness, connect with God / Source, deeply relax your body, have an emotional or physical release, and so much more.
